NEW…

(1) Swim Meets 7/16 & 7/18: We will compete against Seattle Tennis Club this week; home on 7/16 (A Meet) and away on 7/18 (B Meet).

Tuesday, 7/16: For our home meet, all the info is on our website. Please review and plan accordingly. Check the team calendar for food truck info. Gator Pod Swimmers will swim promptly at 5:45pm; please RSVP on the website.

Coach Reminders:

• Please check SwimminlyFan earlier in the day, and let your child know what events he/she is swimming before warm ups.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled warm up time.
• Coaches will take attendance at warm ups. All swimmers please check in with the coaches when you arrive.
• If something has come up and you are unable to make any of next week’s meets, please email the coaches ASAP ([email protected]).

Thursday, 7/18: STC Pool Info is on the website and attached along with the menu. 

(2) Saturday, 7/20: Division 3 Champs will be at Rolling Hills. Review the meet timeline. More information will be provided as it becomes available. Because this is a championship meet and six teams will be competing, Gators will be sitting together as a team. More info to come as it becomes available.  

(3) Sunday, 7/21: Fun Meet/Pool Party/Awards: The schedule for the event will be as follows:

• 9:30am: Set up tents and chairs in the lower field (for the awards and dessert potluck later)
• 10am-11am: Fun Meet
• 11am-12pm: Pool Party
• 12-12:30pm: Shower/Change
• 12:30-1:30pm: Awards & Dessert Potluck (in the lower field). Please pack a picnic lunch and bring a dessert to share.

*Gator Pod Swimmers are welcome to watch the fun meet and join the pool party (in the shallow end only). All families are welcome to the dessert potluck. Pod Families, please RSVP to Donna directly.

(4) Survey: We would love to hear your feedback. Please fill out our year end survey by July 21st as we plan for the 2025 season.

(5) Water Polo: Midlakes offers water polo during the month of Aug (beginning July 29-Aug 25). Water polo is co-ed and no experience is necessary. Four local swim teams (Royals, Monarchs, Gators, and Dolphins) join to make one Kingsgate WP team at the KGR pool. Email [email protected] for more information, or if you are ready to sign up, complete the registration form. The cost is $150 per swimmer for the season or you can sign up week-by-week. Practices are M-W from 7-8am for 13+ and 8-9am for 12U. Flyer attached.
