Greetings Gators, This will be our final team email for the 2024 season.

(1) THANK YOU! We wanted to thank all the families and swimmers for all your hard work and dedication to making this season a success for every Gator swimmer and family. Additionally, we wanted to share a few stats and highlights from the season with all of you to give a glimpse into what we accomplished together and breadth of the summer swim season:

• 3 Bonus Meets (Kingsgate Invitational, Distance Meet, Fun Meet)
• 76 Swimmers of the Week
• 4 Gator National Anthem Performances
• 500+ Heat Winner Prizes Awarded
• 2,250+ Gator Ribbons Distributed
• 900+ Gator Personal Best Ribbons Distributed
• 2 Gator Records Broken
• 30 Swimmers Recognized as Most Improved, Most Team Spirit, or Coaches Award
• 124 Swimmers Qualified for Division Champs
• 55 Swimmers Attended Division Champs
• Gators achieved 3rd Place at Division Champs
• 56 Swimmers Qualified for League Champs
• 36 Swimmers Attending League Champs

(2) SURVEY: We would love to hear your feedback. Please fill out our year end survey by July 28th as we plan for the 2025 season. Our interest is to build upon our strengths, and identify areas of opportunity to learn and improve.

(3) TEAM PHOTOS & RIBBONS: Please pick up your ribbons and team photos in the bins in the pool lobby if you haven’t already. The team photo is also posted on the website. 

(4) WATER POLO: Midlakes offers water polo during the month of Aug (beginning July 29-Aug 25). Water polo is co-ed and no experience is necessary. Four local swim teams (Royals, Monarchs, Gators, and Dolphins) join to make one Kingsgate WP team at the KGR pool. Email [email protected] for more information, or if you are ready to sign up, complete the registration form. The cost is $150 per swimmer for the season or you can sign up week-by-week. Practices are M-W from 7-8am for 13+ and 8-9am for 12U.
