Gators 2026 - Team Email 5/30
Greetings Gators,
Thank you everyone for a great first two weeks and being patient with us. Apologies in advance for the string of emails coming your way and not having more concrete updates to share.
Looking ahead…
6/6: Our first meet Saturday, June 6th at Highwoodlands (a separate informational email will be sent with more information about the meet)
*Each family has received an email from swimmingly to declare (RSVP) for the meet. Declarations will remain open until Sunday, 5/31 at 9pm. Please declare ASAP. A separate email will be sent regarding declarations instructions and expectations for the season.
6/15 & 6/18: First week of Dual Meets (more info to come)
6/20: Optional Distance meet at NHST. 8am warmups, 9am start. More info to come.
6/27: Swim Clinic: Optional opportunity for swimmers who want more practice on specific strokes, turns, and diving technique
- Two Time Options: 9:00-10:20 OR 10:25-11:45
- Select one time slot for each swimmer you are signing up. If you have multiple swimmers for the same slot, use other family members or reply to this email and we can add you.
- RSVP HERE (as if you are signing up for a job. Note: this will not count towards family participation point total and is only your RSVP for the event)
Status updates…
- Team Suit & Merch: Our team suit and merch order are still in progress. Suits were estimated to arrive yesterday but the suits are still being made in Dallas. We will hopefully get another update on Monday. Since we we don’t know when they will arrive, we will need to reschedule the team photo. If we don’t receive our order by Friday, I will sent alternative instructions for our meet on June 6.
Once our order does arrive, I will inform everyone when and where to pick up. Typically, suits and merch are distributed during a practice time.
The merch order is also TBD and have not received an ETA yet. Hopefully we will have the order by the first home meet.
If you have not received your team swim cap and want one, please find me or another board member during practice.
- Team Pictures: Team photos will be rescheduled due to suit delay. More information to come soon hopefully.
- Buddies: Gators who are under the age of 10 AND new the team will be paired up with an older swimmer to learn the ins and outs of summer swimming. This is still in progress and more will be communicated over the next week or two. Buddies will be formalized by the first dual meet.
- Stanchions: The backstroke stanchions anchors are in the process of being replaced. Apologies for the delay.
- Tech: Please make sure all devices are updated to Version 13 of the Swimmingly App.

Participation: Job sign up will close on June 2nd at 9pm. Each family will need to 7 total points for the season.
